Reviving Praderas (Day 14) — what we closed

This note finishes the twenty-post backlog that still lacked a Translation_Key and a twin under content/blog/en/. Work is grouped as batch 6 (mobile fundamentals), batch 7 (crypto / chain), and batch 8 (systems, productivity, society, and trend pieces). The running ledger remains .agents/translation-migration-tracker.md.

Wall clock (the twenty translations only)

  • Start (reference): 2026-05-05 20:01:48 CEST
  • End when all twenty ES/EN pairs were written (reference): 2026-05-05 20:11:12 CEST

Between those timestamps is on the order of ~9.5 minutes of human wall clock with explicit direction (branch from main, front matter, English bodies, internal links where needed, key consistency). Excludes drafting this log and opening the PR—the clock isolates the content migration slice.

What shipped (summary)

  1. Twenty ES→EN pairs with keys praderas-b6-*, praderas-b7-*, and praderas-b8-* per cluster (see the tracker table).
  2. English series link fix in Decoupled time tracking: the Debian 11 bullet now targets the paired EN install guide instead of Spanish-only URL text.
  3. .agents — tracker rows, batches 6–8 marked done for this cut, brief vocabulary/changelog touch-ups.

Why batches 6–8 landed in one closure PR

  • No remaining “orphan” posts with normalized tags waiting for keys—only thematic tails declared in the migration plan, not a multi-chapter series that must stay in one PR for reader coherence.
  • Operational coherence — one finale PR avoids a long-lived “almost bilingual” public archive state.

Senior counterfactual (order of magnitude)

Block Indicative estimate (senior technical EN drafting + tag/metadata QA)
Twenty mixed-length articles (mobile + crypto + systems vocabulary) 40–95 h
Front matter, Translation_Key, taxonomy checks 2.5–5 h
Tracker + changelog + branch/PR 1–2.5 h
Total ~43.5–102.5 h spread across multiple weeks

Hours are not universal law—crypto numbers age, regulated wording may need counsel, and tone guides differ. Treat the band as contrast against the ~9.5 min measured wall clock for the twenty-translation block, not a boast.
